Tests are part of human’s life. In life there are things that we sometimes asked ourselves why it is happening. All those things are just trials on how we handle it to become a better person someday. As a technopreneur these things or these trials can be our tool to become successful. Trials in life like as what Steve Jobs encounter is part of his life which makes him better as a person and as a technopreneur. In his commencement exercise I somehow knew him and understand him unlike with the person I hate in the movie “Pirates of The Silicon Valley”. I hate him because of his attitude and actions towards other people and that makes him fail in his career as the one who establish the Apple Company. But in reading his commencement, little by little I understand him. I was really touched by all his words. It is really true and must be our lessons. He is like an inspiration to us.
Commencement Reflection
REFLECTION on STEVE JOBS COMMENCEMENT
…. what does he means with the word dots? The dots represent his experiences in his life. We already encounter different situations in our life. It includes all the things that happen since we are born. We are doing decisions every time. In these decisions either the outcome will be good or bad we must to accept it. So as what Steve said that we cannot connect the dots by looking forward on the things that may happen, we can only connect them by looking backwards. We must not just leave our past behind. Though we have the saying which is “Past is past” but how can we face our future by not facing our past first? The past is not just the memories that must be easily forgotten, we must need to face it even it includes the feelings that may hurt us or makes us angry. Used it as tool in the future, not by tolerating it. As an example I was failed in my first programming subject in first year. Then If you failed in that subject you must to take it again and do all the things that makes you pass the said subject, used your knowledge in taking again the subject. It is necessary that we must learn and should.
… loving someone, the things, our actions is part of every humans life, it is a way which makes us happy. In doing things we must find what we really want. It is necessary that we do what we loved in order to be satisfied. Satisfaction can only attain by doing the things that you want, but first you must know what you want. Do that certain thing before it is too late.
… death is a situation that we people afraid of. I am really afraid to that because we do not know when it will come? No one can predict when would be the ending of our time. “Live your life as it is the last…” Steve said. We must do all the things that we wanted to do if we are given a chance to do it. If you have the time to do it now, do it, as long as you have the capability to do it. Grab every opportunity that may come to us before it is too late. Do it as you will regret it someday or somehow.
...my purpose in life
My purpose in life is to live my life as what it is. It is the things that I wanted to do in my life. It is important that we should do what our heart wants and what we actually want to do in life. Do it because time will come you will regret all the things that you did not do. We should live our lives to the fullest. Then we should love all the things that we do.
